It is a ticket to become complacent and not do a very good job .. it should be done away with.

Clarify for us please...are you talking about professors at public universities who aren't government employees?

Or are you talking about justices on the Supreme Court of the United States who are actual government employees?

They are government employees. They have state government pensions.

2014, but probably worse now.

What absurdly generous pension arrangements!! Do new employees still go into that criminally bad system?
