Can somebody find the actual tweet and the actual "rule" and stop repeating the same general talking point of "He violated the rules".
On January 8, 2021, President Donald J. Trump Tweeted:

Quote:
“The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”
Shortly thereafter, the President Tweeted:

Quote:
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”
Explanation here a comprehensive analysis of our policy enforcement approach in this case.

As such, our determination is that the two Tweets above are likely to inspire others to replicate the violent acts that took place on January 6, 2021, and that there are multiple indicators that they are being received and understood as encouragement to do so.

There's a sucker born every minute. Trump knows this and fills his coffers regularly as a result.

TBH, I wish this lawsuit goes forward (which it won't) because trump himself could then be subpoenaed for a deposition or court hearing. That would be "ratings gold!"

Oh please. It has nothing to do with our freedoms. This is all about him. He's mad he lost the election and he's mad he has no platform to rant and rave and spread his lies.

And he sees yet another fundraising opportunity.

And sadly, it will work.

I sort of feel bad for all the simps who are falling for yet another performative stunt.

Yes. And he also wants to remain relevant, thus this press conference. I didn't understand all the flags and the podium that said the office of Donald J Trump. And what was with all the people behind him. He acted like this was some White House announcement.

I feel bad for some of the elderly who just blindly trust anything someone with an R after their name says because Eisenhower and Reagan. They probably sent money to Jerry Falwell, Jim and Tammy Baker, Joel Osteen and the rest of the evangelical scammers who live large while the "mark" watches the temp they set their heat/air on to save money. I'll never understand how some people sleep at night who take advantage of others this way.

Younger people who are more worldly and social media aware...I don't feel a bit sorry for them. If they want to spend their hard earned money supporting self professed "billionaire" instead of saving for a house, kids college, retirement...I just SMDH.
