Here's a fabulous chart for all:

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/FYONGDA188S

for any who don't understand, it says "How much of our national economic production does the government take?"

for most of Clinton & Bush2, we were able to keep it under 20%. It jumped for 2008 - 2012 to above ~22% even though by 2010 GDP was growing again. 22%+ hadn't been seen since the early 1980's. We've only been under 20% one year since - 2018

So yes, I'd like to know how spending a higher % of your GDP even as the economy grows is "forced austerity".

U.S. weekly jobless claims unexpectedly rise to 373,000, as job growth slows
If you do a search, the word "unexpectedly" appears nearly weekly when unemployment claims are reported, because, well, the Media has to sell its stories to the public to make money.

They expected 350,000 claims and there were 373,000 which is a 6.5% increase over what was expected.

That's hardly a reason to get your bowels in an uproar. Maybe you could use an enema.

It slowed for one data point, the overall trend has been down. This could change in the future but looking at an increase from 371k -> 373k and declaring doom is just stupid.

I didn't see ya crying about deficits until Biden got in office. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

You need to wake up.
You have no idea what you're talking about. I've expressed my concerns about government handouts even when Trump was in office. You need to wake up or at least try to pay attention.

We hear gloom snd doom in every Presidency.

Religious circles teach Ameggedon at hand like for decades.

Consevative Conspiracy Theories do and seek a savior and tried with Donald J Trump. As one lives thru many MANY decades of change.... accept the unexpected.

- recessions
- bull and bear stock markets.
- regional wars the US gets involved in.
- presidents of one party and then the other
- ups and downs in energy cost by world affairs.

Just MATURE in knowledge and NOT be surprised.... The USA never stays the same. Has patriotc eras and eras if turmoil as we never fix past mistakes.
