He was a declared Democrat at one time, and pro abortion. He even, at one time, gave $20k to Nancy Pelosi's re-election campaign.

Personally, I think he's in the wrong political party.

I don’t think he is a good fit for president in any party. I like a lot of his ideas and policies, but he didn’t cool people down like a good leader should. I am hoping for a strong Republican to run next time around. Not Trump.

No.

He’s unfit for office regardless of party.

After the Clintons, Obama and Biden even a dog catcher is more fit for office. Democrats crack me up. They have no legs to stand on and pretend they float on water.

Try to bring a hint of intelligence to the conversation. Your second grade labels have expired.

So was Reagan. If giving money for Democrats as a businessman in the bluest city in the nation to get permits and work makes you a Democrat then anybody could become a Democrat. Just donate $1 and they can be nominated for President in they party. LOL

On immigration, trade deals, taxes, cutting regulations and putting conservative judges on the bench is a good reason why he and anybody that supports that can’t be a Democrat.

By the way, Trump donated to both parties and more to the GOP. You keep both sides happy to work in a blue state. I would do the same thing if I had to run a business in NYC. Cuomo would be getting a check as long that I get my permits and they don’t have their hands in my pockets longer than they have to.

Reagan was a Democrat when FDR and the Democrats had a 1 party state. Then he grew and got smart.

This post would have made sense before 2016...
Trump Governed as one of the most Conservative Presidents in our lifetime (admittedly a very low bar).
Not sure what rationale you have to suggest he would be a better fit as a democrat today?

And you are the air of intelligence here? Thanks for the laugh. Typical lib, likes to throw stones when they live in a China glass house.

There's no political party in this country that he would be a good candidate for.

No, but somebody of his personal character would have made more sense as a Democrat. It's still insane after hearing all through the Bill Clinton years how much character counts, that the "party of family values" not only nominated Trump, but views him as almost a messianic figure chosen by God to restore moral order to our society.

But no, he wouldn't have made a better president as a Democrat.
