Five California police officers are suing the city of Palo Alto for permitting a Black Lives Matter mural to be painted with anti-police images, claiming that it’s discriminatory against law enforcement and constitutes harassment...
The mural, which was painted following the murder of George Floyd, features the logo of the New Black Panthers, which is considered by the Southern Poverty Law Center to be a hate group
Is it harassment in terms of being anti-police or is it against police harassment? I'm guessing it's the former but the way you wrote it, it's that latter. Which makes the police in the suit very silly people.
The suit looks dubious. The cops should just find jobs in cities where they are appreciated. Let Palo Alto see how they like it with no cops. I bet they might change their minds then.
Ashley Babbitt and Justine Damond are 2 completely different things. Please stop comparing Babbitt to other people. She was literally climbing into a clearly barricaded and guarded part of a federal building.
She was let in by Capital Police Officers. You might want to wander outside of your cozy liberal echo chamber. Her life mattered and I hope her family gets a huge payday.
She was 'let in'....???
i'd be interested in learning more about this....any info you can share?
