The illegal aliens flowing across the Southern fathom border continue to denaturalize the country. Isn’t Congress only immigration and citizenship authority naturalization?

So…why are they denaturalizing the country? Was the 14th Amendment denaturalization or naturalization?

Here’s a hint….Natural is a Kind.

Are so called naturalization acts since Reconstruction really naturalization acts or denaturalization acts?

Naturalization is a homogeneous society and denaturalization is a heterogeneous society.

The word nation means a homogeneous society. Is the US a homogeneous society? Well….it hasn’t been since 1868.

I’m the only person who made the effort to find out why the Founders used natural born, naturalization and posterity in the Constitution.

It’s found in the Book of Common Prayer…..and Shakespeare.

“The kyndly fruits of the Earth”

“Were all thy children kind and natural”

Read Federalist #2.

That could be possible in some places, but in the rural area I'm thinking about, I don't think so as it has few immigrants (legal or not) and has seen very little population change, other than a generational one among many of the descendents of the Silent and Greatest Generation folks, who have sadly but predictably been dying out.

And when people are unfriendly and standoffish towards others, particularly in a close knit and formerly welcoming area that has maintained a very low crime rate, I absolutely do think that's sad.

What has become so deeply entrenched and programmed into people's cultural mindsets is for their default position to be fearful and distrustful of others, to the point they don't even realize they're doing this, don't realize that it hasn't always been that way, and that it's not that way everywhere.

My greatest concern is that it will not last as has been with 50 states and the constitution because more and more on the left are attacking it.

People who dislike each other and don't share any common values can only live to together for so long. Imagine a marriage like that, it's doomed, well so is the nation when like that.

There are plenty of mentally ill people in other advanced countries, OG, but not the gun violence of the US. So, what's in the US mix that makes things different?

Right-wing extremism is our greatest threat. If they believe that the Presidential election was "stolen" based on nothing more than the words of their charlatan messiah, then we have real problems here. They were willing to overthrow our government because they didn't like the results of the election. That is the very definition of dangerous and a threat to our freedom.

The only saving grace is that we now know they are but a small handful of zealots who are vastly outnumbered by the rational people in our country. As long as the ratio of sane people to Trump supporters remains the same, we should be okay.

You tell me! All I said is that most mass murders are committed by mentally ill people not because they worship/idolize guns or are a member of some so-called gun culture. Prove me wrong!

I am long past fear as I watch inevitabilities start to happen. Wealthy industrialized nations are becoming poor post-industrial nations. Allies become enemies as they fight for resources, between and within nations. Climate change will destroy vast amounts of infrastructure in areas becoming uninhabitable. Some will be salvaged and the rest will be abandoned as useless without fossil fuels. Dropping fertility is a positive change, but there will still be plenty of famine, plague, and war to correct our overpopulation. In the USA specifically, next year's elections may be fair enough, but at least one more civil war is likely this century. We are near the end of this civilization, with values and belief systems that don't work anymore, so there will be plenty more nonsense and silliness in culture and politics.
