Title: Biden Targets Big Business in Sweeping Executive Order to Spur Competition.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...Ak2?li=BBnb7Kz

From the link.
- President Biden signed a broad executive order that aims to promote competitive markets across the U.S. economy and limit corporate dominance that the White House says puts consumers, workers and smaller companies at a disadvantage.

- The order, the centerpiece of a new Democratic emphasis on restraining the nation’s most powerful companies, lays out a detailed plan to address what the Biden administration sees as trouble spots across industries.

- to some of the most cutting-edge issues facing the government, such as first-ever antitrust regulations for internet platforms.

- Among the White House’s targets are agriculture, healthcare, shipping, transportation and technology, as well as labor practices that the administration says limit wages and mobility.

- Mr. Biden’s effort isn’t a hard mandate but instead a road map that encourages U.S. agencies to adopt policies that push back against corporate consolidation and business practices that might stifle competition and lead to higher prices and fewer product choices.

- The executive order also seeks to promote affordable broadband and boost consumers’ rights to repair products they own, an issue of concern to the administration because of limitations imposed by an array of companies.

-“ Capitalism without competition isn’t capitalism. It’s exploitation,” Mr. Biden said before signing the order. “Without healthy competition, big players can change and charge whatever they want, and treat you however they want. And for too many Americans that means accepting a bad deal for things that you can’t go without.”

So TO LIMIT OUR HUGE COMPANIES from monopolizing by their size.... the markets that can RESTRICT Competition and hurt smaller companies to prevent more buying up competitors etc.

Sounds like even Conservatives do not want the Amazons or Microsoft's or others from setting the example of how more will become super-companies cornering markets. It also address some wage restrictions in the quench of competition. How even our Farming is about buying up family farms and what has been happening across America losing its family farming harder to compete with the big land owners.

*** SO IS THIS A BAD BIG-BROTHER STICKING IN REGULATIONS SECRETLY UNDER PREVENTING MONOPOLIES OF SORTS????
* Seems those who still see it all as DEEP STATE will see it is about - -An ulterior motive... Seems FEW WILL GIVE BIDEN A Pro-small business nod in limited the Big guys advantage.... and just the Deep State getting deeper....

Debate, demonize, mock or maybe some CIVIL CONVERSATIONS.......

I approve of and applaud the President’s efforts here. No idea how anyone could argue with much of it, but I’m sure some will.

"puts smaller companies at a disadvantage"...

Now they want to be concerned about small companies after wiping out a large chunk of them with the lockdowns.

Government ruined many small businesses from the start.

Also - anyone who believes them concerning the focus solely being on competition, does not understand these people.

And it's not the government's job - especially via the executive branch - to legislate competition.

It’s ABSOLUTELY the government's job to insure competitiveness.
