Abolish the Federal Government. Reintroduce the Articles of Confederation or something similar.
Let the States be our main government as intended.
We wouldn't really have to reintroduce the Articles of Confederation.
Just make the new Government abide by the Constitution.
(Although I can think of about six amendments that need to be rewritten, as their logic was flawed. But six sentences out of all of the Constitution and Amendments isn't bad. It is a really good Contract. )

I would love to have a protracted discussion on theology, but, not here, of course.

I think we will see each other in Heaven, and I believe we will both do well at the White Throne Judgement, but maybe not for the reason you think. We disagree on a lot, but I think we would agree on a lot more.

When it's all said and done, there will be nothing left. Those who think this nation is somehow salvageable after the last 75 years are out of their damn minds, it really isn't.
The last 75 years have been pretty damn good in this country, for the majority of her citizens. Maybe it has been all about greed, as you say, but the fact is the US has led the world for the past 75 years economically, militarily, scientifically and socially. So when you say the nation is not "salvageable", it's really not clear what you think we should salvage.
If you mean the US will lose its pre-eminence on the world stage, that would be just fine. Then we can become like other "fallen" empires - England, Germany, Japan, France - prosperous countries with a high quality of life without all the militarism.
We'll probably get a Kamala Harris presidency relatively soon.
That's how great empires go out- not with a bang, but with a whimper.
