I doubt either party is doing a good job addressing the needs of Americans. They would rather seek controversy over racism and immigration.

That was how the economy was set up in the former Soviet Union. Very few people want to give communism another try or Fascism, either.

Moving right along...
Only some radicals are deeply fascinated about above Marxist thought and actually want to advance it. But Republicans will exploit it by saying that is what is on the minds of all Democrats as goals to achieve all based on Marxism or Communism.

If Republicans are so scared of Critical Race Theory, then why aren't they seeking that it be banned from teaching in higher education? Instead, they ban it in K-12 where little if any is being taught. No wonder. It's a too advanced for those grade levels.

Banning CRT is outright government censorship and violates the 1st Amendment as well as another example of cancel culture.

Well, they called themselves Socialists and since the premise of this thread is of "American Marxism", I'd like to know when Marx ever proposed that government have control of everything?

The definition I finds is: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. which doesn't seem to fit what existed in the Soviet Union.

Maybe another deadlier virus, food prices sky high along with extremely high gas prices and electric prices. Hit out grid. So many ways to destroy our way of living. There is always a ruling class of the super wealthy even with communism.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a proponent of bailouts. I didn't like it under Obama and I don't like it now. We should have faced the music in 2008.
