Not really Fascism. It wasn’t really a totalizing ideology. No doubt it controlled about everything in, say, Germany, but it still gave the facade that “capitalist titans” were still charge of their empires.

Not all regimes were as rigid but in a place like the SU you could be murdered for expressing a thought. In China you’d most likely be stuck in re-education till you answer correctly.

I suppose Fascism could be totalizing but then wouldn’t it just be socialist/communism where state runs everything including the command economy?

As we see in Cuba this week, Venezuala, Nicaragua, Cambodia, NK, China, and the Soviet Union, Marxism/Communism is a plague put on this planet, and rivals if not beats Nazism in terms of evil and dead bodies.
