But it's not "their" choice. They've been thrust into a world where their competition is an entity that has unlimited resources to pay people to stay home. It's hard to "pony" up when you don't have the means to fund your business through forced taxation.

The CEO of restaurant chain &pizza says there's no labor shortage, only a wage shortage.
He's been paying employees $16/hr since before the pandemic and says he's fully staffed.
He said he'd received more than 100 applications for each job this year.
So goes the claim that we need illegal aliens here to do the jobs that Americans supposedly won't do for a fair wage.
Just wait til the Biden/COMMAHAH (future PRESIDENT) administration grants MILLIONS of Cubans amnesty and FREE STUFF when they cross our closed (WINK! WINK!)American border claiming asylum!! Wages WILL go back down, and taxes will skyrocket so that we can take care of their demands! Life in socialist America is getting worse by the minute! We voted for it! Legally & illegally! Karma!

The government sticking their fingers in the labor pool by paying people exorbitant levels of unemployment to stay home and do nothing, isn't a "free market".
All this is doing is encouraging people to extend their childhoods farther into their adult years.
Relying on the government to be their mommies and daddies.
They want all the freedom of being an adult without any of the responsibilities.
Plenty of jobs pay fair and decent wages once you leave the "entry level, no skill required" jobs.
America is the land of opportunity. You want better wages then get a skill and apply for those jobs paying more.

If I had it, I'd bet $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 that you've never had anything to do with owning or running a business. I'd put everything I have on that. That's how sure I am. The ignorance you've demonstrated is astronomical. That's not unusual for c-d, but the arrogance mixed that level of ignorance kind of is, which is why I bothered to respond. You seriously need to start thinking more about the things that you say, and if you don't understand the ignorance comments, then you need to learn more about business. A lot more.
