Recent arrests at swanky hotel across from stadium during MLB all star week in Denver. All 4 were arrested for drugs and intent to distribute. All were felons so their guns were also seized and they were charged for violating existing gun laws. They had balcony overlooking entertainment area right across street from MLB game.
Over a dozen guns seized but no mention of the quantities of drugs. These arrests along with other crimes, are tampered down to not taint the happy times of the relocated MLB all star game. This would be also current event as it happened yesterday.
WOW! In reading the article, it seems to me another mass murder might have been thwarted. Kudos to the housekeeper who reported it! I will be very interested in reading a follow-up.
It’s just a matter of time until some nutcase starts spraying sniper fire at a field while a game is going on.
Pro sports franchises, and colleges too, are going to have rethink their threat matrices when it comes to securing an event such as a football game with 100,000 fans in attendance.
They need to think beyond the facility. I know they have started to do this based on the Las Vegas shooting a few years back, but I’m not sure if every venue is secure enough.
If they had existing Felony convictions, which it said they did, it was already illegal.
So? You can't know that just by looking at a person. What was the probable cause to detain the people to get their information to know that they were felons?

Shame on the police for getting between a likely mass murderer and his targets but it`s nice to see that the people with 16 guns and a thousand rounds of ammo have a supporter. One of the suspects posted on Facebook that after his divorce he`s going out "in a big way".

Likely mass murderers or likely businessmen providing security for their cash and products because the society would not provide police to do it because it is bad stuff?
