Well you must not shop much for food.

Same. Don’t care nor notice gas prices because I don’t use my car a huge amount. These are the same people who turn a blind eye to the fact that wages have been stagnant for decades while everything else has increased such as rent, “Get a better job! Quit buying expensive phones, stop going out to luxury restaurants, stop buying lobster & filet mignon at the store! Take responsibility for yourself!” & they have the audacity to cry about the price of hot dogs. For real. Just a bunch of whining losers.

Federal COLA for retirees is currently shaping up to be over 5% for 2022. Haven't seen that kind of rise in more than 10 years.

If you don’t sell, that doesn’t mean squat. It doesn’t help pay for gas or groceries or anything else. All it means is that it makes it harder for people to move from renting to owning, or moving to a better school district, etc.

I can pull equity out if I needed the money as well as if someone has a reverse mortgage more cash becomes available. You don't have to sell to do that. If people are renters and angry at Biden because gas is a little more expensive. What can I say. Biden attacking the oil industry and pushing electric cars will cause gas prices to go way down. Demand will fall and so will prices. You will see that in coming years. Besides that OPEC has much more influence currently they are limiting production.

I go to Walmart here in Oklahoma. I don't see much increase in food prices for what I buy. As far as gas goes. Its 2.79 here. I believe it was 2.39 earlier in the year. Higher gas prices are good for the local economy and help push up home prices. I usually put in maybe 6 gallons a week. So I am paying $3 more a week.

It’s obviously not right to compare prices now with those one year ago, when we were in a deep recession caused by the pandemic. But if you compare prices today to two years ago, you will see for example:

Gas up modestly ($3.15 vs $2.83)
Airfare is cheaper ($327 vs $350)
Clothing is cheaper
Meat is more expensive

Overall prices are 6% higher than June 2019, an annual rate of 3%

Was the majority of the GOP saying we shouldn't do the 2nd round of stimulus? I don't remember that. Trump certainly wasn't.

What "climate change restrictions" and which "energy policies", SPECIFICALLY?
