Let us not forget during the coming election what the Democrat Party Leadership has done to our businesses, our families and our children, when they ignored a commonsense approach to the Covid outbreak and instead, substituted irrational and unscientific iron fisted measures which may take a generation to overcome.

Well, aside from the nonsense spewed out by Geraldo, one thing for certain is, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is a man of his word!

The people are finally waking up and getting rid of this type of monsters who have been brainwashing their children.

His wording confirms there is a negative impact. His only question is, is it “lasting”?

Why on earth are so many of our leaders' adopting "policies" which not only ignore the "science" but are outright child abuse?

We must never forget during the coming election what the Democrat Party Leadership has done to our businesses, our families and our children, when they ignored a commonsense approach to the Covid outbreak and instead, substituted irrational and unscientific iron fisted measures which may take a generation to overcome.

Yep. The Democrat approach to covid made sense in the first few months of the pandemic when not much was known about it and there were no treatments or vaccines. But as time passed, more and more draconian measures on younger and younger kids - down to forced masking of 2-year-olds in daycare - became common in many blue states. The politicians have spent enormous political capital and energy pushing masks on kids. Meanwhile for the much older age groups, 75+ in particular, the IFR (infection fatality rate) for this virus is 2000 times higher than for kids:

https://link.springer.com/article/10...698-1/tables/3

Not 10x higher, not 100x, but 2000 x. Imagine what it would be like if, instead of spending all the energy on forcing masks on little kids, if instead they did something like, discuss/subsidize ventilation in nursing homes, and making sure elderly residents have access to vaccines and boosters, and making sure they are not malnourished or vitamin D deficient. Statistically, that might have put a real dent in the death count. But instead of doing that, they spend all their energy on kids - the lowest risk group.

Furthermore, mass testing of asymptomatic kids in order to attend school is taking tests away from where it really counts - nursing home staff and residents, etc.

But we are still not making much progress on the death rate because all the political energy and resources are being wasted on the population that simply doesn't need it!

It doesn't make any sense. I'm going to have to agree with Ben Shapiro here - basically, the left-wing views on covid policy have become a cult. Even previously left-leaning figures like Vinay Prasad are talking about "the cult of masked schoolchildren".
