The notion that freedom of speech is exclusively tied to the first amendment is what's misused.

Just because it's not government that's doing the restricting doesn't mean that freedom of speech isn't being violated.

You're just saying that you're ok with the restrictions on speech as long as it's not the government doing it.

The only guaranteed freedom of speech you have is enshrined in the Constitution.

There is no other "freedom of speech".

Racism: The vile and scientifically baseless theory that there are different "races" of humans.

Racist: Anyone who believes the outrageously false theory of racism, or behaves as if they do.

Racial Equity: When people are not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Did I say anything about a guarantee?

Free speech is a natural right and a human right.

Just like self defense is.

You're confusing the concept of Free Speech with the First Amendment itself.

The First Amendment doesn't grant freedom of speech.

It preserves it.

Just like the rest of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Facebook can violate free speech without violating the First Amendment.

That doesn't make it right, it just means they're not violating the first amendment.

They are not the same thing

Your argument is akin to saying "The concept of personal property and laws regarding trespassing are infringing on my natural right of free travel."

You're free to say whatever you want, wherever you want. You are not free from the consequences thereof.

"Liberal": Someone who supports liberty.

That might have been true a century ago. But today's liberals have done a complete 180, supporting bigger and bigger government, laws to restrict more and more of people's private lives, higher taxes to pay for it all, etc.

"Conservative": Someone who wants government to remain the same.

This term was used as a pejorative a century ago, when government was relatively small and people were more free. Some people (now known as "liberals") who wanted bigger govt, used it to deride other people who wanted govt to stay small, trying to pretend they were afraid of change instead of simply wanting small government. But since government has exploded in the last 90 years or so, "conservatives" are now the people who want to radically change it, back to the small size it was a century or so, with only necessary expansions for high-tech defense, control of pollution across states etc. (The latter might require a constitutional amendment, since there is no authority in the Constitution for the Fed govt to handle pollution across state lines, unless you want to lump pollution in with "commerce - one of the sillier attempts at expanding Federal power.)
