Marge Schott once again is praising the start of Adolf Hitler’s term as German chancellor. ``Everything you read, when he came in he was good,″ the Cincinnati Reds owner said in an interview aired by ESPN Sunday night. ``They built tremendous highways and got all the factories going. He went nuts, he went berserk. I think his own generals tried to kill him, didn’t they.
``Everybody knows he was good at the beginning but he just went too far.″

"We're very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but, you know, it's unfair to simply say everything is bad," Sanders said in a "60 Minutes" interview. "You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?"

Nothing, what’s your point?

Mussolini was famous for getting the Italian trains to run on time. That’s a fact; it doesn’t mean I love Mussolini.

In 1971, 98% of China lived beneath the international poverty level. Today it’s less than 1%.

The US trade relationship with China was restored in 1980 and reapproved annually, thereafter.

It was made permanent with bipartisan support.

As we saw during Trump’s trade war, the US was not the only game in the world. Other countries, especially Brazil, were delighted to fill the void as the Federal Government reimbursed farmers for their losses. Airbus, the second largest manufacturer of commercial aircraft did the happy dance.

So, are they both OK or are they both wrong?

On a technical level.. Honestly, they're both fairly well accurate.

One got a baseball owner suspended for a year. The other had no repercussions.

Marge had a bit more of a history of running her mouth off.. or at least in a different way..

I think she was fired for a wide variety of comments including, but not limited to:

Tim Sabo said that he'd heard Schott refer to then-Reds outfielders Eric Davis and Dave Parker as "million-dollar ******s."[7]

Levy, who is Jewish, alleged that Schott kept a Nazi swastika armband at her home and claims he overheard her say "sneaky goddamn Jews are all alike.

did not understand how the epithet "***" could be offensive.[9]

Schott was quoted in Sports Illustrated as speaking in a "cartoonish Japanese accent" while describing her meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan.[3] Schott later stated that she did not like Asian kids "outdoing our kids" in high school.[3]

Context, and the history of the person speaking IS important.

Extreme poverty not poverty. China - anyone in rural areas earning less than about $2.30 a day (adjusted for inflation). It was fixed in 2010 and looks at income but also living conditions, healthcare and education.
