The leaked documents, which reportedly were classified secrets, reportedly includes a brief psychological profile of the former president who is described as “impulsive, mentally unstable and unbalanced individual who suffers from an inferiority complex.”
Very accurate description of the former Degenerate in Chief
Here’s the latest from the Guardian, putting the story in context. The original story was not an opinion piece. I’m going to wait to comment until there is more information available. So far, it’s pretty much confirmation of what so many sources were saying for years. It’s not like this is out of left-field, but it’s pretty amazing to see possible direct evidence of the Kremlin’s plans. What Trump supporters seem to miss when they deny these stories is that it’s not just Trump and not just America. Under Putin, Russia has been effectively weakening the alliance of democratic nations and seeding unrest within those nations. Donald Trump is just the tip of the iceberg. If you’re actually interested in learning from the Russians themselves, they are happy to tell you how they do it. I’ll leave a link for a very interesting documentary about the use of disinformation and active measures below the link to the Guardian article. In fact, I’ll leave links to all kinds of sources that show how prevalent Russia’s use of disinformation is at this very moment.
Tim Pool just put out a video on this which analyzed this pretty logically and discussed how the 'framing" of the story shows its nothing more then an opinion piece.
If your only response is "well its Tim Pool" without refuting any points well you have no argument.
First of all, he got the facts wrong - he claimed the Kremlin leaked it when we don't know who did it. His point that if Putin is colluding with Trump then the Kremlin would not have leaked this paper to hurt Trump makes no sense if it wasn't Kremlin's intention to. For all we know, it was some disgruntled Putin enemy inside the Kremlin who leaked it.
Second, he is harping on the debunked narrative that Trump was a hardliner on Russia. Fact is Trump's staff was hard on Russia but he himself fought to reduce/remove the sanctions on Russia.
Third, he called it an opinion - which is technically true but he went on to imply that all opinions are worthless and likely wrong; which is preposterous. Using his definition, calling Michael Jordan a great basketball player would be an opinion so it means Jordan was probably a very bad player. What he tried to hide is that an informed opinion is often correct; which is the case here. There is no questioning what is said in the papers - the Russians are helping Trump get elected. This is not just an opinion, but a very informed one that would be very difficult for it to be disproven. The only question is whether the papers are real; which we are not certain although experts have verified that they are.
It "appears" to show Putin plots to put Trump in power. What that really means is that the reporter's personal opinion is that Putin tried to put Trump in power. The media is really just talking about this story so that they can deflect from the fact they found actual evidence of voter fraud in the Georgia audit.
Putin prefers Biden, because Biden is nice and predictable....
"It is my great hope that yes, there are some advantages, some disadvantages, but there will not be any knee-jerk reactions on behalf of the sitting U.S. president. That we will be able to comply with certain rules of engagement, certain rules of communications and will be able to find points of contact and common points."--Vladimir Putin, 2021
"If you see someone quoting my words without providing any credible link, you know it's a lie" - Vladimir Putin, 2021
Three opinion piece “news” sources. This is the same crap they pulled during the entire Trump administration. I fully admit Trump was a lot rough around the edges but this propaganda from all the left media sources has got to stop. They carefully rap up lies to make it sound like truth. Dangerous and damaging to the democracy.
Sadly, but some people trust everyhing what fake news agencies report.
Every presidential election, foreign corporations, foreign governments etc. often pick a side and then try to influence the election.
For example, a Saudi illegal contribution individual funneled money throughout the Obama administration and the minute he donated to the Trump inaugeration (first non D donation) wham....busted by the Dem DA in LA. lol.
Then you have China. We know they didn't stay out of it.
So, I have no doubt that Russia hated Hillary and preferred Trump. I have seen no proof that their trolls had any measurable impact on the 2016 election and it remains to be propagated whom China pushed for...or other countries for that matter.
Ask him to get specific, and cite demonstrations of this instability. He can't, and won't even try. He'll probably come back with some generic insult against your intelligence. It's how these people work.
I'd do it, but he's on ignore. You can guess why.
