The civil war is now underway, but this time it just looks different...
...change the word "country" to "cities & states" & you'll see the new civil war playing out. Hard working Americans are fleeing liberal cities & states in droves (& a few republican places too), and taking their wealth, future tax payments, families, businesses, & employees with them.
If you drill down on net "domestic migration" numbers only, & subtract inbound immigration from abroad, you'll see an exodus from places like; CA, IL, MI, OH, NY, NJ, CT, & IL. KY is losing population due to the death of coal, and MS's outflows pale in comparison.
What happened to Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, St. Louis over the past 60 years is now happening to Chicago, LA, San Fran, & NYC. Hard working educated affluent American "makers" are fleeing mostly Lib cities & states in droves, & they are being backfilled by uneducated & poor immigrant "takers".
Yes, there are a few Republican cities/states losing domestic population too, but they're inconsequential as compared to the massive liberal cities/states exoduses, & losses of Billions in tax revenues. That Lib argument wreaks of desperation, deflection, & denial. You're still losing the new civil war.
CT Governor Ned Lamont even admitted "we don't need more taxes, we need more taxpayers". Sorry Ned, but immigrants from Guatemala who are penniless, & illiterate, are not going to pay as much in taxes as those Yale grads were paying, before they split. Your Sanctuary State's drowing in $92B of current & long term debt, & those recent arrivals who don't speak English can't bail fast enough.
So, the civil war is on, but this time its being fought with moving vans & future tax dollars....domestic migration patterns away from Dem controlled urban cities, & states, & into cities and states with lower taxes, lower crime, lower cost of living, less regulation, & better opportunities for the future are the front lines of this civil war, & Libs are getting massacred.

1. Disagreeing with current federal spending is not cause for civil war. The voters elected to give complete control of the government to Ds. Increased spending should have been expected given that. You’ll have another say at the ballot box in 2022. Highly likely Rs take back at least the House.
2. Disagreeing with big tech CEOs is not cause for civil war. They do not control all information, only that on their platforms. I haven’t used Facebook in over 10 years, anyone else can make the same choice.
So if you can't get what you want, the best solution you can come up with is to destroy the country, kill millions of people, and set our economy back 50 years?

There is someone on here who is a left wing anarco-socialist communist who talks about the revolution in Catalonia in 1936. For them that is evidence that a communism can work and they think its the best form of government for us.
It exists and some of the BLM rhetoric borders on that sort of thing. I am sure there are more on the right at the moment. But it exists on both sides. I will search later for links from previous conversations on here.
We need a bi-partisan investigation into the violence we have seen committed by the far right and the far left, a full investigation into January 6th, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Neo Nazi groups.
We need mandatory anti-riot legislation like Ron DeSantis wrote into law to have harsh penalties for rioters, looters, people who commit violence.
Equal jail time no matter what political affiliation.

Asking when civil war is warranted is a philosophical question. But civil wars are never planned. They just happen.
The Spanish Civil War was sparked by state-sponsored Communist violence.
The Russian Civil War was sparked by the Communist overthrow of Russia's first democracy (i.e., the Provisional Government of Alexander Kerensky).
The English Civil War was sparked by Charles I's autocratic behavior and taxes. (In the early 1600s, he still believed in the divine right of kings.)
The American Civil War ... you know about.
Nobody planned or thought about these wars. Nobody foresaw the outcomes. They were sparked, people joined in (mobs, soldiers, officers, church leaders, revolutionaries, business leaders, politicians, writers etc.), and events snowballed.
