It's all about the money.
As the variant spikes in neighborhoods with low vaccination rates what is surprising
( or not ) is that the death toll is not running alongside. Stagnant or declining in some cases.
The worry is not about Covid as it is about the Financial loss.
Three weeks in a hospital is a price tag no insurance company
and places of employment want to swallow.
Now business want to take away your sick days?
I can remember years ago folks with heavy drug ,alcohol and mental problems
not having to worry about losing a job while still preserving their sick days. In addition,
enrolling in a program ensured you came back to a job waiting for you with opened arms.
Covid is becoming more about the money than anything else....................or has it always been ?

MGM Resorts says that unvaccinated employees who test positive for covid won't be paid for time off while they're in quarantine.
Also, beginning July 26th all unvaccinated employees will have to pay for their own covid testing, and show negative test results on a regular basis.

ALL the top casinos better have the same policy or MGM will find itself with unhappy guests. Everywhere service industries are severely understaffed; workers are in the driver’s seat right now, not management.
