I did a little reading, and in 2020 Tanzania refused to do what everyone else did, and did not force their nation into lockdown.
The government decided not to implement a lockdown because that would have restricted public access to health services, especially for patients with chronic conditions like tuberculosis and HIV infection...
Government officials have emphasised the risk of starvation brought by lockdowns and the need to protect economic stability, with the deputy minister of health noting that ‘when you go for a total lockdown it means some will instead die of hunger.’
Just wait until the COVID cases from those vaccinated kick into gear.
There is a cheap, safe, method for fighting COVID that all the experts knew about - and they chose to create vaccines and take a ton of government money... and in the end, people can still get COVID.

The scientific research pre covid showed that hydroxychloroquine with zinc and with z pack was highly effective for sars. Yet it was mocked and discarded.
Neither the medical system nor the reporting system in third world countries is reliable enough to know how many deaths there were.
That said, it wouldn’t surprise me if countries like that actually had fewer deaths since those countries, while they do have higher mortality for infectious diseases like malaria, they generally have fewer obese people than in western countries and obesity is the number one risk of death from covid.
Also those countries tend to be more isolated and there are less people coming and going within the communities than in western countries, so the spread is slower.

At one point he sent papaya and goat meat samples to be tested for Covid-19 and used the results to justify his denial of the virus.
The true cost of this negligence and dereliction of duty can be counted in the number of lives lost as a result.

There is little testing and no plans for a vaccination programme in the East African country.
It is nearly impossible to gauge the true extent of the virus and only a small number of people are officially allowed to talk about the issue.
Since June last year, when President John Magufuli declared the country "Covid-19 free", he, along with other top government officials, have mocked the efficacy of masks, doubted if testing works, and teased neighbouring countries which have imposed health measures to curb the virus.
Mr Magufuli has also warned - without providing any evidence - that Covid-19 vaccines could be harmful and has instead been urging Tanzanians to use steam inhalation and herbal medicines, neither of which have been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) as treatments.

* As to the question of "Where is Magufuli," it has been recently revealed that he died of Covid19. Who says there's no such thing as poetic justice?
\Trump supporters have been so thoroughly brainwashed that they never ever do any fact checking for themselves. If some alt right host on a radio talk show screams loud enough, they believe without question whatever he is saying. If it comes from Fox and Friends then it must be solid gold.
I've never seen a group of people so easily duped as Trump's base. God help us all.
