Still onboard?
Elevated testosterone levels in blacks compared to other races could partially explain both the superior athletic potential and increased aggressive tendencies.

Opportunity is based on a million factors. My son doesn’t have the same opportunities as Bill Gates’ son.

Of course he does. We all do. It boils down to how badly one wants it. If he has the desire to create computer software, he can make something out of himself by getting a good education, and learning about the tech industry as much as possible. He can go on YouTube and watch educational videos and get books on it. He can research colleges that offer the best bang for his buck. He can get financial aid for tuition if you choose not to pay for college.

He has options. He doesn't need to be the son of a famous software developer to be successful. The only way he won't have those same opportunities is if someone like you continues to get in his way and fills his head with nonsense, saying things like this country is out to oppress him for his entire life.

It's those "evil white conservatives."

I disagree with your comments about MLB stars not having any mass appeal. You are very wrong on that.
Name a baseball player with the marketability of Steph Curry. You can’t because there aren’t any.

Again, 99.9% of Americans can’t pick Fernando Tatis Jr out of a two man lineup. And the biggest star, Sho Ohtani can’t speak English. Be serious, dude.

Equity means equality of outcomes, versus equality of opportunities. They will take from some to give to others or suppress some to give to others.

In theory it doesn't seem all that bad, in reality, it causes division anger, and resentment.

People should have equality in access and go as far as their work and talents will take them. Equity manifests itself in ways like not keeping score or everyone getting a trophy, which is dumb as hell to me.

"Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity" now just translates into white people basically being pushed to the back of the line for other people. Some of these SJW / Woke buzz words all sound ok, it's when they are put into practice is when you see the problems.

Jordan Peterson preaches a very similar message. Social norms and hierarchies are NOT going away anytime soon. They were developed over the span of mankind and are a part of our DNA. Hierarchies are a part of mother nature. Look at a pride of lions. Do they have a hierarchy? You bet they do. Why would humans be any different. So as a result, there will always be the top of the pyramid and the bottom of the pyramid. The left, try as they may, will never get rid of these hierarchies.

So the drive to get to total equality is a recipe for failure. It's a unicorn! The goal is to get most people aware of the isms and call it day. I do think we are at that point here in America. Move on to a different topic and have at it...but approach said topic with a realistic and logical outcome.

Lol at picking bill Gates as an example. Most kids in the world - white, black, Asian or whatever - don't have the same chances as Bill Gates' kids. Just like poor white kids from Appalachia won't have as much opportunity as LeBron James' kids.

I read somewhere that you'll never be able to legislate everyone up the socio-economic ladder. It just won't happen. Some people are for a lack of better way of putting it are just better at navigating life. We're not all created equal, but we all should have equal rights under the law.

Try as I might, I will never make it for the NBA. 5'9' and chunky, isn't' going to happen.

People don't really want to accept that not all things in life are going to go your way. I said upthread that the whole everyone gets a trophy thing and not keeping score in sports is just dumb. The kids know better anyway. It's the parents pushing this crapola.

It ain't how life works and as harsh as that sounds, it's reality.

Another area of life where hierarchies and inequality exist is in the dating world!!! So 5'9" liberal Nancy with her perfect Scandinavian features has her eyes on the equally lovely 6'3" Chad. In her eyes, they are the perfect match and they'd produce wonderful blue eyed, blond haired babies.

Hey liberal Nancy, how about you forget about dreamy Chad and go approach Tran Nguyen, the 5'4" inch Vietnamese guy with a slight speech impediment and ask him out on a date instead?

Well picky Nancy, don't you see you are reinforcing the hierarchies that you and your ilk so desperately loathe with your dating preferences? Put your money where your mouth is, embrace equality and give Tran a shot at your heart. Or is that a little too close to your heart Nancy? Yup, I thought so! Yet another NIMBY liberal at work! Oh the hypocrisy! This is a perfect example of why there will never be true equality!

There are a helluva lot more poor white folks than the folks in Appalachia. Don’t know why you guys are always using them as an example as if they’re the only poor whites.

In any case, you only bolstered my point. There’s no such thing as equal opportunity. No two people have the same opportunities. Equal opportunity is just as elusive as equal outcome.

Equity means moving the self-victimized goalpost until every non-white has a mansion, 2 cars, a boat, and 6 figure cash in reparations.
