The Republicans did not block the 1/6 investigation. Pelosi blocked two of McCarthy's members, and he is now pulling out entirely and starting his own investigation.
Besides - why wouldn't he? The more we find out about 1/6, the more Democrats (and the media) look like the absolute liars they are.
