A unvaccinated friend of mine was arguing with me last week, she said she ignores my texts about Delta because she doesnt want to talk about it with me and that I should relax and live my life without worrying, like she is. Guess who got sick in Florida over the weekend and tested positive???
And she still could have gotten sick and tested positive had she been vaccinated.
Cases mean nothing. The 7 day death average in Florida is 28. Yes, TWENTY EIGHT. Out of 21.5 million people.

That is a ridiculous statement, yes deaths are low but increases in cases are very significant. Over 30,000 cases in 3 days many of which end up in hospitals is bad news. The virus is surging throughout the nation but certainly Florida is the worst at this point. I see DeSantis finally focusing on the vaccine instead fighting Fauci, businesses and cruise lines.
I know many people in that boat. I'm there as well.
But twisting the "Don't Fauci my Florida" message into an anti-vaccine message requires a stretch of the imagination that only a left winger could conjure up.. typical.

I did this last year at several large hospitals near me two days in a row. Like a bloody ghost town. The news said ambulances were lined up around the block waiting to discharge patients.

The State of California was forced to admit it was fudging the ICU utilization numbers by double counting every COVID patient. Many public health officials and epidemiologists spoke out against it after discovering this.
The MSM hit pieces on DeSantis also never mention that Florida has an age adjusted COVID death rate lower than locked down California's. They also don't seem to understand what "per capita" means, but maybe their inability to work with data is one reason why their ratings are so low.
Biden is sending in all those covid illegals into Florida..thousands of them on a daily basis. Hundreds are coming to Del Rio daily and bused or flown to Florida.
A positive test just means you have the virus or bits of it in your body. We have all sorts of viruses in our bodies all the time. If they made tests for those, we'd have 'cases' for those. It doesn't mean you feel sick or even have symptoms. If you are healthy your immune system will destroy it. Don't people bother getting tested again in a few days?
It means you might get a little sick or be at deaths door. I faired better than my son is now - it’s a very terrible virus. And healthy people have died. Healthy immune systems don’t always win with Covid. Facts
