World wide pre-vaccine, the average death rate was 8%, nearing 15% in Spain at its peak.

The death rate in MA of vaccinated people is 0.0018%.

Those are some nice fake numbers, care to post the source?

There are 7.6 billion people in the world, only 4 million have died, that’s less than the population of NYC.

4.15 million deaths out of 194 million cases world wide.

Those deaths have been reduced considerably in some countries with vaccine roll out in early 2021 so mortality rates have decrease recently. At least in some countries due to the overwhelming effectiveness of available vaccines.

Worldwide mortality rates averaging 8% pre-vaccine for those infected are accurate. I am not your secretary. You can look it up though I am sure misinformation for your own personal cause is more important.

You realize you're comparing apples and orangutans here, right? That "death rate" you cite for MA is the percentage of all vaccinated people who died of Covid within the very short time (days to a few months) since they've been fully vaccinated. It is not the percentage of vaccinated Covid patients who died from it. The vast majority of those people didn't have Covid during that period, and most were likely not even exposed to the virus.

_______________

From CDC - As of July 6 (taken from Vox article - link below)
Fully vaccinated people in the US: 157 million

Reported cases of breakthrough Covid (leading to severe disease, hospitalizations and deaths combined) among these 157m fully vaccinated: 5,186

Percentage of these severe disease breakthrough cases: 5,186 out of 157 million is roughly 0.003%.

(CDC agrees this is probably an undercount as data collected was from voluntary reports/patchy tracking.

Breakdown of the 5,186 cases:
—Hospitalizations: 4,909
—Deaths: 988 (about 0.0006%)
_______________

Breakthroughs of severe disease/death do happen in the fully vaccinated, but given the numbers out of 157 million, they’re still awfully low.

Breakthrough illness in the vaccinated usually occur in areas where there are more unvaccinated people.

Vaccines have never been said to be 100% - but they are extremely effective at reducing the severity of illness, hospitalizations and death. An undeniable case for getting vaccinated.

The solution to reducing breakthrough illness and the delta variant is for more people to get vaccinated. The more who are protected, the weaker the delta becomes.

Because of the high level pockets of unvaccinated people, masks should be worn by all. Want freedom from masks and getting back to more normal life fast? Get fully vaccinated and wear masks when out in public. Avoid crowded situations. This is only continuing because people will not get vaccinated.

A nurse being interviewed on the news today said people about to be put on a ventilator are begged her for the vaccine, because many people often don’t live after being on the ventilator (many do make it, too). The nurse didn’t lie, but couldn’t offer the shot. “It’s too late,” she said, looking heartbroken. Doctors and nurses are hearing many people voicing enormous regret for making it a political thing (it’s not - it’s a life or death thing). Not getting vaccinated, as one person was quoted, “to own the Libs!” has his Darwin Award waiting for him, sadly.

In short:
Vaccines aren’t perfect, but they’re far better high medical bills and death.
They will likely protect you from severe illness, hospitalization ($$$) and death.
They will weaken the delta variant - IF everyone who can - gets the shots - NOW.
They are free and available everywhere.
Stop putting others at risk.

Look at one thing. Mortality rates of the un-vaccanated vs the vaccinated.

Before vaccinations were available, some countries had 8% and higher mortality.

Now, within the vaccinated community, mortality is near 0.001%

That is all you need to know to determine vaccines work in dramatic fashion.

You can call it apples, orangutans or bananas. It is what it is.

Yeah I already knew that was bunk.

They are doing it to try to get more people vaccinated, a very disingenuous way of doing so.

I think the whole point here is that is just temporary.

Deaths among the vaccinated will soon rise due to new variants fully breaking through the prior antibodies.

The vaccine isn't the problem, it's the policy and faux-news.
