And who makes up a militia? The People do. The People being the responsible Citizen.
It's not an argument because everyone is or can be a militia.
What if the good people of the inner cities armed themselves and teamed up to go out and patrol their neighborhoods because the cops won't or can't due to the failed Defund movement of the Left? What if these good people put pressure on the drug dealers, the gangs, the pimps and the average criminal hoodlum that was hanging out and up to no good, forcing them off the streets thus cleaning up their neighborhoods?
They could be called a militia but the Democrats would no doubt call them vigilantes.
Of course the Left has turned the word "militia" into one they use to describe a bunch of Trump supporters running around in the woods with guns while they contemplate how to keep the blacks down and eventually take America down.
Militias, the citizen soldier are what made this country possible.

I thought about that and I still might. But I know many people in various burbs here and even they are saying those areas are starting to change for the worse!
I work with democrats and they are applauding this and think this will solve everything and that lori will be a hero. And that she showed how wonderful she is by not accepting help from President Trump even though it meant the killing of so many innocent people including kids!

Who's shocked . . . I'm pretty rightey and no shock here. Homicides with firearms have decreased every year since 2005. 5,000,000 new first time gun owners (legal) in 2020. The right of human self defense, a God given right, flourishes.

The overwhelming number of shooting occur in 5/25 Chicago Police Districts. Most of the city’s residents are able to avoid these gang infested areas and gangs.
Last year, CPD recovered more than 12,000 illegal guns, most in the same 5 districts.
Most people who reside in or visit the city are not particularly worried about getting shot.
2 months ago, man and his 7 year old were in a Mc Donald's drive thru waiting for their order, when 2 guys burst out of a car and began firing at their target. Whole thing was over in seconds and the shooters took off.
Man was wounded and the 7 year old, killed.
Then it came out, the wounded man was gang and had a history of violent crimes. I suspect he had a firearm on his person or in the car.
CPD was able to track and arrest the shooters due to camera activity.
Should Chicago mayor position cops in every Mc Donalds just in case gang warfare breaks out?
This week someone in a car tracked and opened fire on an occupied party bus as it add a pit stop at gas station in a popular night life area. Among those injured was an armed security guard on the bus, the driver and 6 passengers. It is very unusual for people to hire an armed security guard for a party bus.
No question, one or more on this bus had some sort of gang affiliation. Who knows? It might have been the security guard.
Should the mayor deploy officers to every gas station just in case all hell breaks loose?
