LOL. Abortion never ranks in the top 4 of issues in elections, even right before and after Roe v Wade.
It is a noise issue politically, but not a game changer. The economy, taxation, education, and safety of the nation from both terrorism and/or foreign enemies, will stay the huge issues each and every election.
Yep. Abortion is WAY down at... #22, with only 6% of respondents concerned about the issue.
Yes, the language of the law matters. I looked it up and read it. That is why I noted in my post the principle of statutory interpretation that states that words have their ordinary meaning if they are not otherwise defined within the statute. The term "demonstration" is not otherwise defined, which means it has its ordinary meaning. The ordinary meaning of "demonstration" includes demonstrations using props. One can demonstrate how to do something without actually replicating exactly what is being demonstrated.
I disagree. For example, one does not use a fake "prop" computer to demonstrate computer software.
They can't take birth control because of side effects, then depend on the man to use a condom.
There are non-hormone contraception devices women can use. I know because I used them after each of my kids were born, I was breastfeeding, and it's inadvisable to ingest extra hormones at that time.

And, once more, it's none of your business what medical procedure a woman has to remove a parasite from her body. And no, no precedent is set by fetal homicide laws and there is no equal protection issue either. Saying that over and over doesn't make it any more true than the first time you trotted it out.
When it involves killing another human life, it's everyone's business. That is, unless we live in a completely barbaric society. Do we?
Local control equates to unequal rights, a patchwork. If rights are not consistent across the country, then why bother being a country, at all?
Exactly! Do we really want a patchwork? So whenever you go to vacation for 2 weeks in another state, you have to learn a whole new set of laws so you don't make any mistakes and get arrested. This idea of each state operating as it's own little country is unworkable. Think it through.
They need to not leave Roe in place, as it was Federal overreach, and no more worthy of staying intact as Plessy vs Ferguson was.
By that logic, Heller should not have been decided the way it was, and States should have been left free to impose whatever laws they want with respect to firearms. After all, who are the SC to tell NY what their gun laws should be. Same thing with all of the amendments that have been incorporated.
Legal murder of an unborn baby by ripping it apart with surgical instruments...are we great yet??
Is this really the vision you keep in your head? Most abortions are done before the embryo even begins to resemble a tadpole.
