So what? A WILLING participant has already CHOSEN to accept the possible outcomes. That's what. There is no shame in it. It's what women's bodies were designed to do. And it's incredibly misogynistic of you to insist that women are unaware of that very basic biological fact. Let me guess... you're a science-denier.

It's no one's business what a woman decides to do with their body. Especially men!!

Killing an unborn child is apparently each state's business as most of them have fetal homicide laws.

Mississippi asks Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade; says 1973 decision was 'egregiously wrong'

JACKSON, Miss. -- Mississippi's attorney general told the U.S. Supreme Court Thursday its 1973 landmark decision in Roe v. Wade was "egregiously wrong" and should be overturned.

"The conclusion that abortion is a constitutional right has no basis in text, structure, history, or tradition," Fitch said in a newly filed brief.

The challenge before the Supreme Court involves Mississippi's Gestational Age Act, originally passed in 2018, which allows abortion after 15 weeks only in medical emergencies or severe fetal abnormality. There is no exception for rape or incest.

After months of debate, the Supreme Court announced in May they would take up the challenge to Mississippi's law. Arguments before the court will be heard later this year and a decision is expected next June.

I think SCOTUS will overturn Roe v. Wade based on the 10th Amendment. This isn't about abortion rights, it's about Federal overreach and state's rights. There is nothing in the Constitution that addresses a woman's right to an abortion - as such, its a state issue. Roe v. Wade is un-Constitutional because it violates the 10th Amendment.

Correct.

Which has nothing to do with Roe v Wade. The federal government has no right to enact a law telling states whether or not they can enact act laws regarding abortion (and many, many other issues). I recommend you familiarize yourself with the 10th Amendment.

Seriously? Birth control isn’t 100 percent. Again the circumstances of how a pregnancy happened isn’t your business. Your assumption of what pro choice thinks about women being too dumb to know what causes pregnancy is a false equivalency.

Capitol building, not Capital building.

In that world.. Roe cannot stand.

It is either one or the other... we have a right to privacy in our medical decisions OR we don't.

Since we don't... we don't. Roe is bad law.

Except nothing is forcing you to lose ultimate privacy over that medical decision just for existing and breathing, but rather only if you want to continue working for particular employers.

You spew all the time that women aren't accepting the possibility of a pregnancy when they have sex. That just isn't true. Pregnancy is ALWAYS a possible outcome with certain male/female sex acts, barring complete reproductive sterilization.

And, yes. Seriously. Pregnancy is a KNOWN possible outcome and anyone who willingly participates in an activity that may result in such is accepting that possible outcome. No different than the fact that everyone who gets behind the wheel of a car or accepts a car ride from someone else accepts the fact that there's a possibility they may be involved in an auto accident resulting in injury or death.

Seriously... How do you NOT know that? Pregnancy and what causes it are basic biological facts. Or are you a science-denier?
