You assume every woman in the US is pro abortion?

You go ahead and think that... Meanwhile, only 6% of US voters think abortion is an important issue. Harris Poll. And that includes those on BOTH sides of the issue.

A recent poll indicated that 44% of respondents said they hadn't heard much or anything at all about the MS case. The poll was taken after the arguments before the Supremes.

Additionally, two thirds of the respondents said, they didn't know how likely the Supremes were to overturn Roe or said they didn't think Roe would be overturned.

The sleeping giant consisting of voters who do not think Roe should be overturned has barely roused from sleep yet.

Way too early to say voters don't think abortion is an important issue.

Reminder: Anyone can go to college these days. Anyone. Even if you have kids.

Cue the responses that abortion is the cure for XYZ. Really? If that were true we wouldn't have any XYZ in the US.
Useless information to someone who is 16 and pregnant today.

That all tells us that abortion just isn't an important issue to US voters, which the late November Harris Poll confirms. Only 6% of voters consider abortion to be an important issue, and that includes those on BOTH sides of the issue.

The point sails right over your head and results in you reaching the wrong conclusion as usual.

Two thirds of people don't even understand the current issues related to abortion. They think abortion should remain legal and they dont believe what is currently protecting that should or will be overturned.

Do you seriously think abortion rights advocates and Democrats will not be getting that message out to them?

You should already understand this from being on the thread re Newsom's CA style gun law proposal based on the TX vigilante/bonus law. Majority of the posters there didn't have a clue about what had gone on in TX and didn't really get it when explained to them because they havent been following it.

They will, but this is not 1973 and women have far more power than just one vote.

If Roe is overturned, there will be massive voter registrations of Dem voters and young voters who are overwhelmingly prochoice.

Today with a click of the mouse you can find any elected official's or candidate's stance on the issue and donate to their opponent even if it's in a different state.....right down to the statehouse level.

Social media will be a huge change to how women are mobilized.

Economic boycotts will ramp up on states waging war against women. Women hold the purse strings in many homes. Lots more women in powerful govt/corp positions who decide where conferences are held can boycott whole states, etc. Companies with HQ in these states will be boycotted if they don't stand up for women.

Women won't just be marching in the streets singing "I am woman hear me roar."

I fear you are manifesting what YOU would do but as somebody who lives in the real world and who works with 99 percent women in a solid blue state............ I don't even see this as a blip on the radar. Poor people who will be hit hardest by this law don't vote. Republicans and the right coalition are not dumb. They do their research and they knew when the right time to strike was. If women cared about Abortion and other women's rights issues Trump and his Kitty grabbing self would have never been elected. Women knew what the stakes were and voted AGAINST a woman who would have not put a rapist and handmaiden on the Supreme Court.

You've made the interesting point that women who are too stupid to be able to control their own fertility are also likely too stupid to realize that abortion rights are even an issue.
