What is Pelosi doing about the looting and shoplifting in her city? (enemies, governor)

That’s not Pelosi’s business to “do something about.” She’s the damn speaker of the United States House of Representatives. Is this a joke?
What are any of your representatives doing about the shoplifting and crime in your areas? And ALL of you live near plenty of shoplifting and crime if you live in a town of at least 10000 people.
As Speaker of the House, Pelosi does not have to do anything about local SF crime. She was not elected or is being payed to do such. She isn't the Mayor, or governor of California.
In fairness, she's a federal representative. Anything she (officially) "does" will be done at the federal level, not local.
That said, there's plenty she could be doing, if it were a priority for her. She could be speaking up about it publicly, mentioning the problem (and somehow blaming it on Republicans) on TV. She could be doing community outreach and working with local volunteers to organize clean-up days.
And of course, she has enormous political influence, so if she wanted anything to happen related to government function in the district she represents, it would happen.
There's nothing surprising or unusual about this, if you've accepted certain political realities. The divide is by class, not race or even party. There's the political and social elite in one class, and there's everybody else. They keep everybody else busy squabbling over race or taxes or masks or whatever, because they don't want more people noticing where the real divide is.
So no, Nancy Pelosi isn't going to be doing anything to clean up SF. Why should she? It doesn't benefit her or her classmates in any way, and keeps the rest of us fighting over poop in the street.
And of course, she has enormous political influence, so if she wanted anything to happen related to government function in the district she represents, it would happen.
This is what I am referring to. And you would think she has a vested interest in her district?
That’s your cousins. YOU don’t live in Norway, and there’s plenty of crime and shoplifting where you live. What is your representative doing about it?
No problem with that.
But didn’t you make a claim that Speaker of the House doesn’t get involved with issues within their hometown?
