When any athlete who participates in the Olympics starts spouting off about how much they hate America, they have NO BUSINESS representing our country. They are traitors and I refuse to cheer for them. End of story.
Yes, OP, I'm certain these athletes spent years perfecting their sport, sacrificing other things in their lives, hour after hour, day after day, year after year, just so they could stand up on the podium before the world and profess how much they hate America. I'm certain that's been their life's dream, to dedicate their lives in order to diss their country on the world stage.

I find it funnier that you and others have problems with our constitution and bill of rights, and say OTHERS hate America. If you believed in our country and our rights, you wouldn't try to suppress them for others.
Yes they have freedom to express their opinions, do you see anyone putting them in prison? We are expressing our freedom of speech as well. Freedom of speech doesn’t protect you from consequences for expressing views that many find offensive.
