They have the capital police giving their statement. It sure looks like the Democrats wrote what they are to say or at least coached them.
It might "look that way", but what if they are just telling the truth? Then "it looks that way" translates to "the Dems were right all along".
I'm no fan of the dems either. I simply have less disdain for them than the R's. I think they are less misguided (but still severely misguided) than the R's, whereas the R's openly want to undermine what our country stands for.
The leader of one of America’s two major parties tried to throw away democracy in favor of dictatorship. Rather than denounce this behavior as profoundly un-American and despotic, a large percentage of the R party has opted to retain this leader and coddle his wounded infantile ego needs instead of standing up to his autocratic tendencies and pathetic delusions.
That won’t cease to be partisan until that leader is completely stripped of any remaining political power he still has in this republic. Thankfully there is now bipartisan opposition to him when you include the sizable minority of anti-Trump Rs, so he should continue to fade from power.

There were many cops in the room that the crowd was in and in the areas on the other side of the window. It's amusing to watch leftists go in to rabid dog mode anytime the subject of the 1/6 riot come up. It's like they know they have a good chance of getting slaughtered in the mid term elections and this is the only issue they think they can amplify enough to turn things around so they're going all in with a vengeance. That's also the purpose of these hearings by the way. To keep this all front and center in the hopes that it will be in the forefront of people's minds when they go to vote in November 2022. But can they keep this charade going for that long? People will grow weary even of this if they keep the volume up to 11 on it for that long.
If there are candidates on the ballot supporting the violent overthrow of the government, then it should be on the minds of citizens when they vote.
I hope the R party trends away from that direction however, in which case I would then agree that it would be time to start to move on from 1/6. The jury is still out on that decision though.
If BLM was actually at fault, GOP lawmakers would be beating down the doors to have hearings on the events of January 6th.
The fact is the BLM people were there inciting burn the place down . that is fact and he was wearing Trump clothing . How may unknowns were there of BLM and antifa.
