Not a big fan of Leader McConnell but he had polio as a child and knows that vaccines work. Sad for our country that personal ambition kept him silent until now. Kudos to him for speaking out now.
He has spoken out earlier. He has NOT been silent. He did vaccine PSA back in January telling people he was going to get the vaccine and everyone should as soon as they are able. He did interviews early on talking about the miracle of the polio vaccine, including talking about what a difference the it made. Because I live in Kentucky that was actually covered here but, gee, funny how the rest of America is convinced he’s been silent. Gee, wonder why this is? Could it be selective coverage by our mainstream media? Yes, I agree that is sad for our country because there are people who might have listened to him and gotten it.

If a very effective, accepted and convenient treatment come about, that will be
a medical-miracle.

The vax seems to have fallen quite short of expectations.

So let me get this straight. You think the MSM who covers it every time one of these "leftists" talk about how everybody should take the vaccine is unwilling to cover it when a Republican says to take it??

That makes no sense at all.

Now of course the right wing media which most conservatives who refuse to take the vaccine watch and listen to...they have every reason to avoid talking about Mitch's position on vaccines.

Thanks for sharing this. I saw the news about his newest PSA on an opinion show on CNN. I wish more legislators would follow his lead. I've heard nothing but crickets from my congress member.

That’s especially true since they are overly dependent on older voters more likely to have a severe case.
