Or how about you stop telling people what they can buy or own. Or how about requiring people to live up to their contractually agreed upon obligations, or facing that they can’t and getting the heck out of someone else’s property. Property that someone earned the money to buy and OWNS. Perhaps you need to realize that their is no right to housing, and that if you can’t pay for something, then you can’t have it. Perhaps you need to realize that we live in a free country and you don’t get to steal things from others because you need them.
I don't know how many times as a renter over a lot of years, I have had to do my own maintenance, speaking of stealing.

Nope, I'm not going anywhere, and am allowed my views. What you want is more akin to a dictatorship, you won't tolerate any dissent
Because your “dissent” means putting guns to people heads and taking what they earn and own away to give to undeserving mediocrities who think they can take what they are not good enough to earn. Progressives are a cancer, not a “view”. The only way you get what you want is force, not trade. That’s not American, or even human.
Interesting that I'm an idiot, considering that I'm paying about $400 less for my rental of a detached home than what a comparable apartment would cost in my area.

"In order to afford the average two-bedroom rental in the country, a worker must make $24.90 an hour, or over $51,000 a year. That means nearly 60 percent of American workers wouldn’t be able to afford a two-bedroom home. The report defines affordability for rent as no more than 30 percent of a person’s income, a common standard."

Dissent? The government can do no wrong. And when s-t hits the fan, because of the actions of the government, the people attack each other, because the government can do no wrong.
Why do Democrats and Biden hate the poor, blacks, latinos, women and children so much?
They had many months to work on this and they refused to help these people.
I hope everyone getting evicted enjoys what they voted for.
Many months to work on what? Nobody is owed a house or apartment for free or by stealing the property of others by force against their will. There’s nothing to work on. Work 80 hours a week and have roomates. There is unlimited jobs right now. I don’t want to hear about free rent paid for by hardworking people. Pay your own way. Why are we putting up with and lionizing redistributive thievery? Here’s an amazing idea: Don’t produce cheeeeeeeeldren you can’t afford. Revolutionary.
Got news for you, other first world countries offer social housing for those who can't afford the private market, like the UK. That would be a start....
We do help the less fortunate with housing. It is called Section 8.
Decades ago, the US tried low cost housing. Google "the projects" to see how that turned out.
