Every insane action originated from an insane opinion piece
In fact, a published insane opinion piece in a major news
Remember last summer when the New York times editorial board head was forced to step down for publishing a very middle of the road opinion piece from Tom Cotton, and half the staff threatened to resign?
I do.
Years ago you could vote if you had filed an official "intent" for citizenship but had not followed through with full citizenship. Most of the non-citizens in the US would probably have the intent but not the paperwork -- but now need to have the process completed.
This would be the equivalent of saying that anyone should not need to be a stockholder to be able to vote on policies of any Publicly owned company because they use the product.
You very often have a different perspective on something when you don't have "skin in the game". I can just see millions of coke drinkers putting in their 2 cents on how the company should be run. I can just imagine what people would suggest.
You reference an OPINION piece (which could be from anyone) and try to say everyone you don't like is insane?
Opinions are like noses, and there is no indication that ANYONE other than the author actually shares that one. I don't know a single person anywhere who would agree.
I can't read the article but it might even be satire, or a Roger Stone type of plant ... the firehose of falsehood. It could have been written by anyone including but not limited to a Libertarian or a Green, and it could be a hoax.
(1) Open the border, let millions of illegal aliens flood in every year,
(2) Don't even bother finding out whether they have visas, or legitimate claims to asylum, relatives in the U.S., criminal records, infectious diseases etc. Just take their word for it all.
(3) Bus them or fly them to various cities all over the country and turn them loose, so they can lose themselves in crowded neighborhoods.
(4) Keep them in poverty so the media can have a field day screaming how badly off these people are and gee we should do something about it.
(5) Change U.S. law so they can work and pay income taxes.
(6) Start the media proselytizing that gee whiz, these people are just like citizens, so they should be able to vote for the Democrat of their choice.
(7) Change more U.S. law so that they can vote.
Sounds like Steps 5 and 6 got crossed up and a little out of order. But the whole scheme is proceeding merrily along, with millions of new Democrat voters that should be available by 2024.
