They don't care about conservative values, their own party, their own country, their own constitution,
they only care about the Cult leader himself.
He will respect the law and court orders. Not everyone is a brain washed cult member that does whatever Trump orders.
No...this goes back to the Supreme Court decision not long ago.
If he did nothing, he has nothing to be afraid of.
Interesting that so far the IRS and Treasury Dept have refused to comment and referred all inquiries back to DOJ.
The IRS Commissioner, Charles Rettig will respect the law as he and the IRS attorneys interpret it.
It's not in the best interest of the IRS to allow themselves to be weaponized for the purpose of harming the current admins enemy. The whole reason he's in the position as a Trump rather than a Biden appointee. He has a 5 year term just like the FBI Director to prevent crap like this.

It is political. If the freaking IRS couldn't bring him down on tax law, what makes congress think that they can?
He likely didn't pay a lot of taxes, and the optics don't look good. He also likely used existing tax law to avoid the taxes. But if they can't get him on tax law, they are sure going to get him on the optics.
And that, my friend, is the very definition of "political".
What is a House committee of clowns going to find that the professionals at the IRS overlooked?
the same irs that hussein Obama sicked on people he didn't agree with.
