Re Original Post,
A mild reaction to a vaccine should be expected. A reaction indicates that your body is building up its defenses. A strong reaction means that your immune system is strong, which may be bad for you.
Now imagine if you didn’t get jabbed and you caught COVID. Your body is under attack so it initiates an all out defense, against all of the Covids genes. You die from bacterial pneumonia because your body is fighting COVID. Or you die from drowning because you at attacking your own lung cells because they have COVID particles. Many different organ failure routes for dying.
Better have a controlled reaction from vaccines , rather than uncontrollable reactions that’s puts you in the hospital, induced coma and under intubation.
We are biological. We are all different. May the variant be kind to you.
I am happy to get the novavax vaccines after it has been out for a few months.
I actually think this vaccine could be the way out because I suspect the other vaccines do not truly work.
Why do you “suspect that other vaccines do not work”? Based on what? The current vaccines were approved by the FDA, CDC as well as healthcare agencies in Europe and all over the world! Tens/hundreds of millions of people at all ages (and health conditions) received them. Recently children were added to those who can get vaccinated.
In contrast, you think “this vaccine could be he way”, when in fact it wasn’t approved by the FDA…
It's been eradicated. How do you think that happened?
Not just Polio but other diseases were eradicated as well. starting with smallpox. But there was a huge difference: at the time there was no internet….This simple fact may have saved humankind from the plagues.
Doctors (who knew far less than today’s scientists), told people to take the vaccines and people obliged. The efficiency and results were poor compared to Covid-19 vaccines, but it was sufficient to deal the pandemics a blow.
My family and I all had the Pfizer vaccine and none of us had any adverse side effects. My son in law complained that his arm was sore but that’s about it.
What are the side effects in 5-10 years? Gee, I don’t know. First I have to do what’s necessary to remain alive and relatively healthy in 10 years from now.
If some of you don’t want to get the vaccine then don’t. That’s your choice. Feel “free” to get sick, incapacitated with long haul Covid or die. Enough has been said. The vaccinated are getting quite fed up with the unvaccinated. We’re beyond caring anymore.
Oh and please don’t judge my nursing, ok? I’m RETIRED. I’m fresh out of “darns” to give.
Carry on and Cheers.
