You folks realize that these children are already plagued with other serious health conditions and are in long term care facilities or under the care of home health aides.
OMG. Here it is. Dr Barbara Pahud, Director Research , infectious disease of Children’s Memorial said the 367 bed hospital was at capacity and attributed it to :
An increase in Covid among children , and
Other seasonal summer and winter respiratory disease.
This doctor’s advice: Mask up and get vaccinated, if eligible
No shortage of local news affiliates reported what the hospital spokesperson said.
I read last week or so about a "nasty seasonal cold" going around.
Since when did we have seasonal colds ?
Might be mild covid instead as Delta exhibits different symptoms.
I have to wonder if it's not related to a year-long "lockdown" where normal exposure to viruses and germs did not occur. It takes that exposure to generate an immune response and resistance to disease. When you eliminate exposure, even via a mask, the immune system doesn't generate that normal response. I have to wonder what other diseases will explode due to the hypochondria associated with covid.
Many, many people are lying about covid hospitalizations...
...And then, they wonder why trust is so low.
The people doing that crap should be fitted with a device that gives them a 100 volt burst if they even get near a keyboard or smartphone or anything else with an internet connection.
