That's for sure! Also, how could Gore have something "stolen" that he did not win in the first place?
I think the point is...Gore lost by 500 votes. He eventually accepted it though. But losing by 500 votes is extremely close. Trump lost by 7 million votes and he and his supporters still can't get over it and claim voter fraud.

7m aggregate votes across 50 states. Between California and New York, Biden gets that 7m vote victory... Arizona was won by 10k votes, Georgia by 11k votes. Trump lost by a far larger margin for his close states than the Bush/Gore Florida counts. At the 537 margin Gore lost by, I could say "Let's audit it." Hell, I have offered a compromise to extend recount and allow for audits by going back to the March date in the original Constitution. The Trump crowd is not quick to answer that.
They did do the recount and Bush won every time, it wasn’t stolen from him.
The Florida recount was never completed, it was decided by the Supreme Court.
Gore won the popular vote, but lost because of the court decision to stop the recount.
There was no procedure in place to recount votes in FL and if they recounted them, Gore would have won. They were forced to stop counting, giving Bush the win in the state, which led him to winning the election.
But the republicans were nowhere to be found back in 2000. No stop the steal, no endless whining about how it was stolen, not a peep. They were all too busy jerking off to how Bush great was and then 9/11 happened. I guess its only rigged when your team isnt winning.
You sure cooked up a fancy re-writing of history there chef! Best stick with reality.
There was a study of the 2000 election by NORC (National Opinion Research Center). This study was requested by A national media consortium. The study concluded that if Gore had requested a state wide recount that included all undervotes, and overvotes Al Gore would have won the election. The SC options given to Gore was only the entire state recount using a method agreed by both sides would be allowed. Gore said there wasn't enough time and it would have caused a contested election. Gore didn't want to put the country though that as we seen with Trump who been able to convince many the 2020 election was fraudulent.
"The results: The two major conclusions here are that Gore likely would have won a hand recount of the statewide overvotes and undervotes – which he never requested – while Bush likely would have won the hand recount of undervotes ordered by the Florida Supreme Court, although by a smaller margin than the certified 537 vote difference."
Also Bush's campaign engaged in dis-information what Gore was wanting. I remember this it was something like "Al Gore keeps wanting to recount until he wins".

Popular national vote has zero to do with it. As you know.
They did do recounts, Gore still lost. Good grief. You clearly missed the nightly “hanging chad” reports and debates.
More to the point, no voting procedures were changed just prior to the 2000 election.
Blank, unsupervised ballots were not sent out by the millions to people that were perfectly capable of voting in person with a real voter registration and a real picture ID.
The real reason Al Gore lost is because he couldn't carry his home state of Tennessee.
Hell, even Mondale carried Minnesota, and he was running against Reagan!

Conservatives moan about trump losing a "rigged" election, yet none of them were around when Al Gore legit had the election stolen due to a technicality in Florida law. Where was stop the steal back then?
Are conservatives just hypocritical when their team loses but dont say anything when the opposing sides gets screwed over?
"due to a technicality in Florida law"
OK, tell us what it was.
