Thanks. But attempting to distract from Government Feline's meandering post that nobody will read - it will not work.

The joke was kinda supposed to be my concise response as a juxtaposition.

But nevermind, carry on Libs!

There was drama because (in my opinion) Trump is a diva and created drama. He's done that his entire life (ex., when his TV show didn't win an Emmy, he claimed it was due to fraud). His past behavior shows a pattern. I personally haven't watched MSM, CNN, etc. in a decade (nor am I on Twitter) and I still saw the drama he created.

If the GOP backs candidates that are more levelheaded, and more down to earth, they will have better chances at winning in 2022 and 2024.

The bases of both parties have radically changed in the last 25 years.

As per Pew Research, in 1996, 51% of Democrats had a high school diploma or less while only 41% of Republicans fell into that category. Overall, 47% of voters were high school or less.

As of 2019, only 32% of voters were high school grad or less, with 35% of Republicans and only 28% of Democrats in that category.

The parties have changed even though stereotypes have not.

Possibly. Combine that with putting the big guy back in the basement as mid terms approach and muzzle Harris, there is a chance.

Not really. Democrats are still the party of deadbeat public assistance parasites. In other words, society's takers, not those who actually contribute to society. Those who vote Republican earn more than those who vote Democrat. Lower incomes are an artifact of one's belief in Democrat ideology - definitely a losing mindset, dooming a highly disproportionate amount of Democrats to a lifetime of hardship and struggle.

More info on that in these charts:
Quote:
"An individual's likelihood of being a Democrat decreases with every additional dollar he or she earns."
Democrats are 63% of those who earn under $15,000 and only 36% of those who earn over $200,000.

Economic Demographics of Democrats

And the opposite? Republicans are only 36% of those who earn under $15,000 and 63% of those who earn over $200,000.

Economic Demographics of Republicans

The income-based divergence still exists as of the 2020 election. The reported income parameters are less severe therefore so are the percentages, but the overall pattern of Democrats earning less than Republicans still remains.

Income under $50,000:

D: 55%
R: 44%

Income over $100,000:
D: 42%
R: 54%

It doesn’t matter which Republican is on the presidential ticket. It’s in the left’s blood to be rabid psychopaths.

Any suggestion that having a college degree makes a voter smarter and wiser as to what is best for this country and the people who love freedom is quickly dispelled by an examination of what is being taught on most college campuses these days.

In fact, college is more like an indoctrination camp for leftist/socialist ideas than it is a true educational system. The learning of things that will enable a person to be better prepared for earning a living in the real world have been subordinated to molding their thinking to conform with the leftist/socialist viewpoint of the world.

They are one senate seat and 8 house seats from controlling the SCOTUS, HOUSE, SENATE, and state legislatures again.

Basically all of gov't except the White House.

The House looks extremely likely to go back to the GOP and the Senate is at worst 50/50.

Drumming up 1/6 conspiracies for another 18 months while actively defunding police isn't going to cut it for Democrats, probably.

I wouldn't bet on it. Even though the democrats control 99% of our media, people are getting tired of all the violence and lawlessness. People are tired of so many collecting while there are countless good paying jobs out there. The democratic platform of race division is also coming back to bite them.

I think you might see a shift in the other direction. I know a lot of my Gen Xer's are VERY tired of this woke/race bating/ spending/ and more crap. Many are shifting to the right.

I hate it when people cite numbers, statics, percentages, call it whatever you want like its gospel. As per Pew Research. Where exactly do they get their data to come up with their percentages? A select sampling across the country, what? I have voted for many years and I have never been ask my education level, religion, ethnicity, age, my shoe size, etc. by anyone taking a survey on voters of a certain political party.

I know quite a few people of all ages and no one I have asked about this has been approached either. So, you quote 51% of Democrats, you quote 32% of voters, you quote 47% of voters. Look crap like this up on the internet all day long and turn around and re-post it on sites like this. Do people read this and actually think this is how it is? See, it says so right here.

So, IMO pretty ballsy to throw numbers around like this.

I need someone to enlighten me as to why some people believe everything they read and worse than that repeat it for the truth.
