Ken Paxton the Texas Attorney General facing Disbarment now over his false claims when he filed the lawsuit to stop other states from certifying their electors. Paxton no longer calls the election of 2020 a fraud he is claiming there were "irregularities".

Paxton's apparent retreat came earlier this month in response to an array of grievances filed by several members of the Texas bar: retired lawyer Neil Cohen; Kevin Moran, president of the Galveston Island Democrats; former Texas Court of Appeals Chief Justice David Chew; and Dr. Brynne VanHettinga. In their initial complaint, the group argued that Paxton should face professional discipline over his bid to undermine the 2020 presidential election, saying that Paxton's December petition to the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that President Biden's victory should be set aside, was both frivolous and unethical.

"In Paxton's response to their grievances, which was provided to Salon, the attorney general argued that "Texas's filings were not frivolous" because "the 2020 election suffered from significant and unconstitutional irregularities in the Defendant States." Paxton further claimed that, by this logic, he and his office "did not violate the disciplinary rules."

Although this is just a complaint likely won't go anywhere lets face it were talking about Texas it would be interesting to see if Paxton goes down like Rudy.

Democrats trying to suppress the speech of a Republican, as usual. Seems to be what they always do when they can't refute what he's saying.

The complaint is about a frivolous lawsuit not public speech. He made frivolous claims in the lawsuit.

That’s how the left wins. With intimidation and threats, backed up by the Corporate oligarchy, corporate media, and big tech.

You’ve got 17 Republican Senators who support the 1 trillion fake infrastructure bill. Most of them are firmly against Trump just as if they were Democrats.

Both sides colluded to oust Trump with a fraudulent election. Anybody in power who states this obvious message will get dealt with. I don’t blame this guy for caving, he has to feed his family.

It’s over. Even though we know the election was rigged, we have no power to prove it.

Laughable. You do realize that the Lt. Gov of Texas offered a million dollars to anyone who had evidence of election fraud. Guess what. He still has his million dollars.

For all the conservatives like Lt. Governor Patrick, AG Paxton and of course yourself who insist that there was fraud you'd think somebody would have collected on that.

So just HOW do you allegedly KNOW something that you can't prove?

If it was frivolous, they wouldn't be withholding data and machines required to complete a full audit. Ample evidence has been uncovered proving fraud and vote manipulation. The threat of taking away someone's livelihood is a powerful thing.

Yeah, it's too bad no one has ever been able to produce this "ample evidence" isn't it? 60 some court cases, numerous recounts and audits and now even a fraudit in Arizona, and still nothing, nada, zip. SAD!!!!

Paxton is not "facing disbarment". The grievances are 100 times more frivolous than anything Paxton filed, and he ought to file grievances against these lawyers for improperly using the grievance process to attempt to deprive half the country of its civil rights.

No, he didn't. And, in any event, making frivolous claims is something for the court to address. If the Court doesn't find the claims frivolous, there's no basis for the bar to get involved.
