I work in the medical field and I'm so sick of these overdoses. You'd figure, ok, so I OD'd 2 times already. Maybe #3 will be my doom. No. These people do not want to help themselves. Wasting money and resources to help those who simply does not want to get better. Is it burn out that I have? Maybe maybe not. But when you start going to the same people, day in and day out, it gets old, quick. Especially when they ending up puking all over and become hostile, fighting with other responders and police. And it's ALWAYS: "What did you take? Nothing, I don't know what you're talking about or I don't do drugs." I laugh at that one. I tell them you're right. The drugs do YOU.
