Why?
You show your diver's license all the time to strangers you don't know, and it has a lot more vital personal information on it than a shot card contains.
I had to trim my vaccination card down a little so it would fit in my wallet, and now that I'm fully vaccinated, I can go anywhere I want without the need of a mask. If anyone doesn't want to let me in to their place of business, the card admits me easily.
The only information on the card is the dates I got both my shots, the place I went to get them, and the initials of he person who gave them to me. Nothing there to be scared from, and carrying the card sure beats wearing a mask around.
If I need a booster shot in time, that will go on the same card. To me, that's like renewing my driver's license. I'll get it done when it's needed. No big deal.
