One conservative politician making a false claim isn't indicative of this being a black people problem. Just weeks ago, far-right conservatives were blaming migrants for spreading COVID, which again, was proven false. Those political hacks are just trying to blame anyone for this crisis except indignant white folks and members of their own party.

What has any President really done for Black people? For the most part, not much. For this reason, anyone obsessing about who Blacks vote for would not ne doing themselves any favors.

Not really. Black people still vote majority-Democrat, far more so than any else. White working class voters are a big reason Trump got into office.

What bugs me is that liberals always zero in on "Trumpies" as if it is they and they alone who aren't getting it. (I voted for Trump, as did almost every one of my friends - and we are all vaccinated, by the way.) The fact is that blacks and Latinos are ALSO not vaccinating at the rates as whites, but you never hear liberals complain about THEM.

It’s biased and embittered stupidity.

Anyone who really truly wants vaccination stats can get them from the CDC, and see for themselves who is lagging behind in vaccination: Blacks, Hispanics, and young adults aged 18-24.

Any static or criticism lobbed otherwise is simply more bias bubbling out, regardless of the truth, and deserves to be ignored. Data is all that matters here. Science. Not feelings.

The people who say they definitely don't want the vaccine shown in this chart are as one would expect.
White, less educated, republican lower income people. Not very shocking, they will continue to be the majority of hospitalizations and deaths for a preventable illness. Darwin awards for them!!!

A poll of 1,517 people.

Here's some CDC data that pertains to race and it's clear that blacks are not willing to be vaccinated.

I was really surprised at the amount of unvaccinated Asians.

Like many people on this site, you are misinterpreting the CDC data. The data is showing the percentage of races vaccinated out of the total vaccinated population. The low percentage seen for Asians is because they are only about 5% of the US population. So their percentage of the total vaccinated population is expected to be be about the same.

It doesn’t mean that many of them are unvaccinated. It could mean that a high proportion of Asians are vaccinated. You would need to take the number of vaccinated and divide it by the total eligible Asian population in order to be able to comment on how many are unvaccinated. Same with blacks, whose portion of vaccinated is actually higher than their proportion of the US population.

Reviving this thread briefly. Many of you responded harshly to the - intentionally controversial - wording of the thread title, saying that 'here in the United States we don't comply people to do anything'. Fast forward 1,5 months, the US government is mandating its citizens to vaccinate.

Minorities are proportionally still in a much higher rate to be refused entry from basically any common joints of society based on their private vaccination status.

I'm wondering if you have become more comfortable with making people comply in the United States?
