A Panicked Gavin Newsom Attacks Larry Elder, Leading Contender in California Recall
Califorina Gov. Gavin Newsom attacked conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder on Thursday during a Zoom call with campaign volunteers, targeting the candidate who is the leading contender to replace Newsom in many polls.
Larry Elder probably won't be able to get anything through a heavy infestation of corrupt legislators, but he sure would be in the right place to push for sanity in CA.
Liberals are totally shaken by conservative black people. It doesn’t fit into their agenda (and fixated opinions).
That being said, what makes Larry Elder a worthy candidate? Talking on radio is not a skill for governing such complex state. What leadership and political experience does he bring?
Elder is gaining in popularity while Newsom is tanking.
Newsom is going to be replaced so he better get used to it.
What popularity? Elder scores between 16-20% of the preference of voters who voted in favor of the recall... If he wins, he will be a buffer governor, in 1 year he will have to face a general election against a real Democratic candidate.... he will have to turn his 20% into +40% I don't see that happening with his ideological positions in a Liberal California.
