It's pretty clear that the Trump campaign was engaging in deceptive tactics. If you have to return that much money you are doing something either very wrong or very unethical.

I actually think he shouldn't have been made to return it. Anyone who willingly gives money to a known grifter and con man deserves to lose every penny of it.
With all of Donald t's legal bills mounting, a stack of lawsuits to litigate, I suspect he'll be declaring bankruptcy before long. I'm sure Melania is keeping tabs on his wealth as she'll make sure she gets her $22 million pre-nup settlement.
If they're calling a prechecked box on a website 'deceptive tactics', they'll be busy for a helluva long time cleaning up that mess... all over the innerwebs. Not specific to politicians, not specific to Trump.
It still amazes me that headline news is still about what Trump did or didn't do, and precious little about the current adminstration. Not sure how long so many people can keep ignoring the fact that nobody really knows what the hell is going on TODAY.
