The exit was ugly but it was the right thing to do. If anyone should resign it would be the military officers and intelligence people that have been telling us that Afghans would fight for their country if only we gave them enough money, equipment and training.
Exactly. It's been reported that the reason the Afghan Army didn't resist is because the Taliban had been negotiating deals with many tribal leaders behind the scenes. Don't fight us and in return your tribe will get this or that after we take power. So how did our intelligence miss that?
And notice how he yelled some parts of his speech for emphasis. Guess maybe some of his speech coaches think that if he ACTS strong enough maybe some people will believe that he actually IS strong. (I think that the reason he was late was because of the rehearsals.)
So theres a speech at 345pm and you were already criticizing and whining about it before noon? When people tried this under Trump, it was nothing but constant heartburn from this crowd. At least actually hear it first before going on and on about how much it sucks.
