Exactly right. The reason our military invasions of foreign countries and the subsequent “nation building” (to make them like mini USAs) exercises always end in terrible failure, is we are either ignorant of their cultures or don't care or think our way is better for them.

For instance, we think sharia law is terrible. In Afghanistan, according to Pew Research, almost 100% of the people think it should be the law of the land:

Our leaders and generals should watch the movie, “The Man Who Would be King”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ma..._Be_King_(film)

Do the Europeans have a plan for their people?
Aussies have sent in RAAF planes and have gotten some of our people out, and are also fast tracking visas for Afghans who assisted. Although dreadfully slow at that, and should have processed a lot of people out of there before now. Now it’s going to be too late for many that we should have allowed into Australia over the years.

There’s been call to get those people out of Afghanistan for years at this point.

Maybe but right now, I think "The Mountain Road"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054095/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
would be more appropriate.

And again, Biden didnt even extend the date til after it had passed, so they had absolutely no assurances, and stayed anyways.
You understand these are government contractors, right? Why do you think they are in Afghanistan? For vacation?

but hey let’s blame Trump, American contractors, Santa Claus, your dogs, etc for Biden’s incompetence.

At least one nation is on top of things. Unlike ours led by Hiding Biden.

Correct, and I applaud nations who turn their backs on us over Biden. When a puppy poops on the carpet, you rub its nose in it, which is what the blowback we will receive amounts to.

What an amazing speech from sleepy joe.

Not a single word about the stan' but by god you'll get your booster shot for covid.

WOW, this reminds me of a movie, 50 First Dates.

Ole' joe wakeing up in the morning and the first thing he sees is a note that says: Watch this before you get outa bed - and the video shows only things about covid, not the stan' but only covid.....and that's all he can think or talk about the rest of the day.

And you sure as heck don't pull all the troops at once. It has to be staggered so you don't create a power vacuum.

Why is this so hard to understand?
Because this commons sense dictates Biden and his supporters take full responsibility for yet another epic failure on their part.

They much prefer just to say "but but but but but Trump". That's all they have. Reality is not good for them.

Amen. His heart breaks cause Sleepy Joe is seeing his administration reduced to lame duck status, with many Democrats turning on him. Wait until 2021 when they must run. Their wrath will make their 2020 comments look like a children's book in tone.
