Clearly Biden had no plan. Best guess: He was planning on kicking the can down the road and never actually leaving Afghanistan. That's why he ended any and all preparations for the May 1st date Trump had negotiated with the Taliban. After blowing past May 1st, the Taliban undoubtedly felt that they needed to make it very clear that they were quite serious ... while Biden's Admin seemed to be preparing to leave and stay indefinitely at the same time.
Clearest evidence that Biden never had a real plan: There's about 15,000 Americans stuck in Afghanistan and the Biden Admin has no clue how to get them out.
The contrast with what we likely could expect from Trump couldn't be clearer. Sure, Trump wanted out. So does the vast vast vast majority of American voters. But absolutely every nation on earth was pretty scared of Donald Trump. The guy had a very "F-ck around and see what happens!" attitude, all while doing more to get us out of foreign conflicts than any president in my lifetime. Just look at his war of words with North Korea leading to unexpected peace talks or killing Qasem Soleimani, while contemporaries would have likely gotten into full blow war with Iran and probably N Korea. He had China pretty cowed as well. The Taliban would have stepped very carefully with a Trump-led withdrawal, but they quite clearly consider Joe Biden an inept moron. China, Russian and Iran share that sentiment. Basically, if you hate the USA, welcome to an era of "do whatever the hell you want" which likely only gets worse when Biden and his handlers get desperate for international respect and do something supremely stupid.
We'll see where things go, but now is a terrible time for having a braindead idiot president.

The danger here is that it invites our enemies to press their advantages, as they will never have a better opportunity than with Joe in office. Democrats are always concerned about what the rest of the world thinks about America, as liberals are insecure and need accolades from everyone. What we should be concerned about is RESPECT from the rest of the world, which shows the US has the resolve to stand by its policies. Biden has shown that under him, he will turn away from any conflict, as he doesn't know what to do.
Another shocker from the clown show that is the "Biden Admin" (remember during the debates when Biden had the audacity to call Trump "a clown"?). Despite the military coming forward and saying that they advised Biden to keep troops in Kabul and secure Bagram so that civilians could be safely evacuated, Biden says,"I do not remember anyone saying that"!
Of course Biden "can't remember"; he has hit the nail on the head (his). HE CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING. So we have the "commander in chief", who is supposed to be the leader of the military, saying he cannot remember the advice and council of the members of the military, thus his INSANE DECISION. Biden is thinking that if only they had told them about the risk, he would have made a different decision.
Sadly, THEY DID TELL HIM ABOUT THE RISK AND WHAT TO DO. HE JUST COULDN'T REMEMBER THE ADVICE!
I think that Biden has just provided some of the best justification to remove him from office- he cannot remember critical information which is required to make the simplest decisions as "president".

Maybe after someone explains the NEED for Americans to defend Afghanistan when the Afghan government fled their own country and the American trained/armed Afghan military which outnumbers the Taliban 4:1 refused to take the fight to the Taliban.

2,000 people made it to the airport to board and only 300 were American. Why doesn't this idiot send enough troops to create a guarded path to the airport with plenty more to round people up as the Brits are doing?

Trump made the plan and carved it in stone with the Taliban. Biden just implemented it and got burned in the process.
They were told to leave well over a year ago. Contractors who stayed were done so because they have contracts with the Afghan government that fell
they werent "Left behind", they chose to stay. Why is this so hard for you guys to have an honest conversation about instead of pretending we left them to die????
