So I heard a little bit about the options to do this leading up to the pullout and there were two obstacles cited:
1. Many of the Afghan civilians were not ready to leave because they did not believe the pullout was really going to happen much less, if it did happen, they didn't believe there would be collapse (opinion, not mine)
2. The evacuation of 100,000 people was not going to go unnoticed by the Taliban as was feared that it would trigger some type of aggressive counter-action so how to do it and go unnoticed? (again, not my assertion, just some of what I've heard thrown about).
1. The US citizens "were not ready to leave" as they were told by THE BIDEN ADMIN that they were not in danger. If they were told the truth (that Biden was pulling the plug) you can bet they would be "ready", or they would be dead or in the mess they are in now. Their mistake was trusting a demented fool.
2. "Aggressive counter action"????? We are at war. You assume that the taliban could have easily swept aside the US army, which should have remained in and around Kabul until civilians were evacuated.
The Taliban DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO BEAT THE US ARMY (unless some idiot pulled them out and there was no US army to defend Kabul and the airport.
They could wish all they wanted to "prevent US citizens from leaving" (why would they care), but they lacked the ability to do ANYTHING against the US military.

Now, the US under Biden has LOST credibility with our fellow allied nations. So I guess, it's Joe Biden's America vs. the world. The US will see very little support from anybody, while Biden is acting like, he is in charge. They just can't run the risk. And I can't blame them.

The Taliban have stepped up their search for people who worked for Nato forces or the previous Afghan government, a UN document has warned.
It said the militants have been going door-to-door to find targets and threatening their family members.
Unless they give themselves in, the Taliban will arrest and prosecute, interrogate and punish family members on behalf of those individuals.
The Taliban now control thousands of US-made armoured vehicles, 30-40 aircraft and a large number of small arms.

I believe her. She’s trying to explain that massive numbers of refugees being shipped to western nations is the plan, just as has happened in the UK since 2015. The west and western civilization must be overrun, crushed, and replaced. Casualties are not going to matter since their end justifies their means.
