In the end, this is ole joes fault. It was his withdrawl of the troop (don't care that trump started it) in the end it was all joe. joe cahnged numerous things that trump started, why could he not chage this?

We can, and it's very clear here we have armchair quaterbacks that will continue to say - we should have never been there blah blah blah- in the end, it's joes screw up....

That pretty much sums it up.

I don't think Bush lied. I think Cheney and Rumsfeld lied to him. Both already had "Invade Iraq" on their to-do list before Bush even took office in an open letter to President Clinton.

What do you think we’re still doing in Kuwait, Syria, Niger, and Iraq? Baking cookies? What do you think justifies our massive defense bill?

Freedom isn’t free and you can’t fight terrorism reactively, only proactively.

When we invade Afghanistan again, and we will. The first thing we’ll do is retake Bagram with alot of blood and a lot of money because again, our massive defense spending and fight against terrorism mandates it.

The day our defense spending slashes in half, will be the day we stop engaging in combat operations around the world. It’s not going to happen.

Oh and it doesn’t help that prisoners at the Bagram prisons for the last 20 years were FREED as soon as we abandoned Bagram. That’s what you call stupidity. The next Bin Ladens were in those prisons.

Bush 2 wanted to go back jack since his father failed to do the job back in 1991. Odd we had record oil prices in 1991 and 2008 with Bush1 and 2. I hated both of them. And Rumpsfeld and Cheney were a joke also. That whole ADM was a total joke built on lies sly.

So.... what would you have done if you were President, and we were attacked on our own soil? Call ISIS and apologize for what they did?

As I already told you occupying countries and installing puppet governments has nothing to do with freedom.

And I also told you that I have no interest in feeding military industrial complex to completely unreasonable levels.

The US fought a proxy war with Russia in Afghanistan, 1979-1989. This was the last hurrah of the Cold War.
The US supplied the weapons and defense contractors trained the rebels.

This attracted jihadists from all over the world which evolved into al-Qaeda.

The decisive blow was struck when the US shipped massive numbers of the US built striker middles, trained the rebels and jihadists how to shoot Russian aircraft out of the sky.

When Russia left, a series of civil wars broke out.

Then came 2001 when the US and allies invaded to crush the Taliban.

It is beyond ironic the US negotiated complete withdrawal of troops with the Taliban in 2019-20 and facilitated the release of 5000 Taliban fighters from Afghan prisons. The agreement with the Taliban legitimized the Taliban. No question they would prevail.

Only 2500 US. troops remained in country in mid January, 2021.

The public will never know how many $ trillions were spent over 40 years. What we do know, is the US military industrial complex was the primary financial beneficiary.
